Maña's second release picks up nicely where their acclaimed first release (¡Por Fin…Maña! Comenzó La Fiesta) left off. This highly swinging Bronx-based salsa band is led by keyboardist Ramon Rosado (also with Wayne Gorbea's orchestra) and timbalero Victor Maldonado (Gene Hernandez' Orq., Tito Nieves, etc.). This is the sort of essential dance music, made without pretense, that can still be heard in select bars and clubs around NYC.
Be sure to check out "Cabio Sile Yeyeo" as sung by powerhouse Awilda Morales -- one of the album's many highlights. Estamos Gozando also features the dynamic vocalists Fernando Fernandez and Pete Rodriguez. With guest percussionist Anthony Carillo and vocalist Abraham Rodriguez (on the track "Okere").
